Hey everyone!

 

I hope everyone is enjoying the rebirth of the legendary Daegonner PvP Faction network. This thread withholds the official rules and regulations for Daegonner.

 

Note: Breaking any of the specified rules will result in a punishment per the staff-team guidelines (found below). However, staffers are permitted to deviate from protocol if a user consistently breaks the rules. Administration may extend punishments or do permanent bans/mutes if they feel it is necessary. However, if you ever feel wrongly punished don’t hesitate to write an appeal (Link: https://daegonner.wixsite.com/daegonner/forum/ban-appeals) and our Enforcement team will review it within 24 hours.

 

Official Daegonner Rules and Guidelines

 

The Following is Prohibited:

 

■ Ban and Mute Evasions

Circumventing punishment via alternate accounts will result in a permanent IP ban.

 

■ Inappropriate Faction name / Username

Racist, sexist, discriminatory, or vulgar usernames will result in a ban. If you’re banned due to an inappropriate username and then change it, simply appeal on the Forums and we'll unban you. Inappropriately named factions will be forcefully disbanded by an Administrator.

 

■ Chargebacks

Upon donating to Daegonner, you agree to the purchase and terms and conditions and thus you are unable to charge back donations. Attempting to do so will result in a Perm-Ban and potential legal issues.

 

■ Glitch or Dupe Exploitation

Exploiting glitches within the economy and abusing discrepancies within plug-ins will result in a ban. You must report all glitches, dupes, and bugs to our Administration immediately.

 

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Water Glitching

• Lava Glitching

• EnderPearl Glitching

• Teleport Glitching

• Sethome Glitching

• Block Glitching

• Item Duping

• Money Duping

 

■ Hacking / Malicious Use of Mods

Attempting to hack or use prohibited game-modifications will result in a permanent ban from the Network. A list of allowed mods can be found below; any mod that is not listed is NOT ALLOWED!

 

Allowed Game Modifications:

 

• Gammabright mods (increase the brightness of mods)

• Armour Status

• Potion Effect

• Damage Indicators

• Sneak / Sprint Mods

• Optifine

• Shaders

• TabbyChat Mod

• World Downloads

• Schematica with Printer

• Mini-Maps. (without Radar)

 

Chat Rules:

 

■ Faction Name Spam

Spam changing the name of your faction to clog chat or get the attention of a staff member will result in a ban.

■ Harassment

There is a fine line between casual trash-talk and harassment. Persistent harassing, name-calling, degrading, cyber-bullying, personal-attack, etc, will result in a mute per staff guidelines. If you ever feel attacked by another player, we encourage you to contact a member of our Administration as Daegonner promotes a fun/caring/mannerly environment.

■ Discrimination

Discriminatory Language (sexism, homophobia, racism, ageism, religion, origin, orientation) is taken very seriously and will result in a mute.

■ Mini-Modding

Please do not pretend to be staff. It is the staff team’s responsibility to monitor chat - if you see someone breaking the rules please file a complaint in our reports section with evidence. Attempting to enforce the rules as a regular player is extremely irritating and can now result in a mute.

■ Staff Disrespect

The staff team works very hard to make the server a fun and safe place. Disrespecting them in any way will result in punishment. If you feel a staff member is abusing their power or not doing their job up to standard feel free to report them.

■ Advertising

Advertising any non-Daegonner related material will result in a permanent mute.

■ Pornographic / Inappropriate Links

Sending inappropriate or infected links will result in a permanent mute.

■ Spamming

Do not send a message more than three times consecutively.

■ Death/DDOS/DOX/Suicide/Torture Threats

Threatening other players is taken extremely seriously and, depending on the severity, will result in a permanent ban or mute. 

■ Advertising Real Money Trades

Trading with real money is not allowed. Daegonner does not protect against real-money scams and advertising them will result in a mute.

■ Immaturity

Acting childish or immature for the sake of annoying the community will get you muted.

 

Note: Warnings are only administered for minor offenses - severe offenses will result in immediate punishment. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with our rules - ignorance is not an excuse!

Staff guidelines: Staff will use these guidelines to determine the length of punishments. Staff can create custom lengths for certain punishments if they feel the need to do so, but this is basically how we will deterime the length to punish players.

 

Mutes:

Severity 1: Mild chat offense, 2 hour mute.

Severity 2: Moderate chat offense, 24 hour mute.

Severity 3: Severe chat offense, two-day mute.

Severity 4: Extremely severe chat offense, 14 day mute.

Severity 5: Major chat offence, 30 day mute.

Severity 6: Unacceptable chat offense, perm mute.

 

Bans:

Severity 1: Mild offense, 12 hour ban.

Severity 2: Moderate offense, 24 hour ban.

Severity 3: Severe offense, 48 hour ban.

Severity 4: Extremely severe offense, 14 day ban.

Severity 5: Major offense, 30 day ban.

Severity 6: Unacceptable offense, Perm ban.
